We have stayed repeatedly during the MN State 4H Horse Show. If you know about horse show folks, we are dirty, tired, hungry and full of horse hair. I'm sure we make a lot of extra work for housekeeping, and yet this hotel offers discounted rooms year after year and welcomes the horse show crowd. We've never had a problem checking in, checking out. Our room has always had a working fridge, coffee pot, and microwave. The shower has hot water and the beds have always been comfortable. It is an older motel that is run down, but if you are just looking for a no frills place to sleep it works just fine.
Was impressed by my stay at the key Inn well-maintained facilities, had clean, comfortable spacious yet affordable rooms , the staff was very welcoming and polite. One man in particular employee named Ali was very helpful as to the location of amenities around the hotel. He was also very knowledgeable about dining and activities around the area. Definitely impressed by the staff and the room and stay. Definitely a good place to rest your head
Good hotel for a cheap price. Better than I expected, and better than other hotels in the area in the same price range. Nice employees.
The room was average. Staff uninterested. Elevator a hassle. Large numbers of long term guests, and large number of young partying guests. Not surprising for the cost. Pretty clean considering environment.
Edited- back to Minneapolis for a two week stay, four days in. After finding bed bugs at three other hotels, and after a through check with finding none here... Going to say price for what you get - a place to sleep without bed bugs, cheap, minimal hassle- the two week rate can't be beat.
