My fiancé and I had a couple really great experiences with Bill. He was working down in the home department both times and helped us with our wedding registry. The first time we had a frustrating experience at the Stillwater store Bill helped us start our registry. Then after we had edited our registry online it had totally disappeared and deleted.. no one could find it. I had called IT, my fiancé called IT, and we both were spoken to very rudely and got no answers. I started new registries online and all of those were deleted as well. We were getting frustrated as we are getting closer to the wedding and people are starting to shop off the registry and we went back to the store and there was Bill. He jumped in right away to help. He found the deleted registry in store... we just couldn't access it online still. That was a Sunday. Monday I got a phone call at work from Bill that he still couldn't see it online but that he was going to try to figure it out. It is now Wednesday and I just checked and found the registry. THANK YOU BILL!! He went above and beyond and deserves all the credit for all his hard work!
We'll drive the extra distance to avoid her. I don't know how some people can keep their jobs with such toxic customer service skills.
Last week went to purchase a dress shirt for my boyfriend. No one was around the entire men's department for 30 minutes to answer a question I had and then when I went to pay no one was at the register. Finally went to a different register and no one was at that one either. Someone eventually showed up, I paid and left. Today I went to return one of the two shirts I purchased and no one was around the register (big surprise). An employee made eye contact with me as I was clearly waiting to make a return, bag in my hand, started waking towards me, then decided to help another customer, and then disappeared. Waiting for another 5 minutes knowing that if I went to another register surely there would be no one there either. Finally the employee came into view, saw me again, and asked if I needed something. No, kyren, I like just hanging out at registers in herbergers in my spare time. *eyeroll*
Black Friday coupons are a scam. If purchasing a home good and buy it in a different department they don't have the $25 discount coupon. So you have to go back to home goods department to get your gift coupon...which is only good thru the thanksgiving weekend. Plus their customer service people are rude. Oh and to top it all off, they sell ivanka trump merchandise.
Went in to Herbergers to return a gift from our wedding with no receipt. Their return policy is corrupt and they gave us 20 dollars for an item that they put back on the shelf while we were there to sell for 90. Talked with a manager in the store, Heidi, and after not getting anywhere she belittled me by calling me too frugal. Won’t be shopping at this location or returning items to Herbergers any longer. Extremely disappointed with the customer service.
The store was great; large selection and clean store, but one single cashier was absolutely horrible. Couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and sheer lack of respect for customers, not just on one occasion, but two nights in a row. The things this woman was saying about previous customers . . . in front of other customers, and the snide remarks she made directly aimed at my mom and I.
